Players of AVIV ScoutRoute navigate an overhead map view filled with easy-to-tap icons representing various ‘quests.’ Each quest is a simple survey aimed at collecting missing labels in pedestrian data. For example, you might be asked to identify whether a sidewalk is made of concrete, asphalt, or another material. AVIV ScoutRoute may handle multiple quests for a single feature, such as asking several questions in a row about one bus stop.

The game-like prompts provide more feedback as you answer questions and aims to add more gamification elements and rewards to keep users engaged and motivated to add high-quality information.
